The March 14 forces are preparing a memorandum to hand President Michel Suleiman listing the factors that are key to their participation in the national dialogue, reported An Nahar daily on Tuesday.

It reported that the factors consist of the formation of a neutral government ahead of the 2013 parliamentary elections, setting the issue of illegal arms as a main topic of discussion, keeping Lebanon away from regional disputes, and asserting the role of the army in Lebanon.

Berri Says Provided Palestinian Leaders with Names of Assassination Plotters

Speaker Nabih Berri on Wednesday revealed that he has provided Palestinian leaders with the names of a group plotting to assassinate him, noting that they are “experienced individuals.”

In an interview on al-Manar television, Berri added that he had summoned top Palestinian leader Azzam al-Ahmed, member of Fatah’s Central Committee, to brief him on the available information, which were reported by “three sources.”

Aoun Files Lawsuit against Geagea for Hinting at his Involvement in Assassinations

Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun filed a lawsuit against Lebanese Forces leader MP Samir Geagea over his recent statements on the political assassinations in Lebanon since 2005.

According to a statement issued by the FPM press office, Aoun also filed a suit against the Central News Agency, Lebanese Forces’ website and al-Mustaqbal newspaper for misleading the judicial investigation and not providing it with the valuable information and for inciting a sectarian strife.
