Biden urges Netanyahu to 'minimize harm' to Lebanese civilians
U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday emphasized "the need for a diplomatic arrangement to safely return both Lebanese and Israeli civilians to their homes on both sides of the Blue Line," during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the White House said.
"The President affirmed Israel’s right to protect its citizens from Hezbollah, which has fired thousands of missiles and rockets into Israel over the past year alone, while emphasizing the need to minimize harm to civilians, in particular in the densely populated areas of Beirut," the White House added.

I meant to say that the ten-year interest rate in general went up. At the moment Bloomberg reports it at 4.06%. A few weeks ago it was down at 3.7% or lower.
Strange attractors, as physicists might say? My term for that, at a guess, is wobbling. Things wobble. The world is not a machine. Hardly anything happens in a straight line.

Let's be more worried about Lebanon, the prosperity of Lebanese citizens, and positively contributing to the promise of humanity. Gloating in eager anticipation of someone else's troubles is not sport, but a sure sign that we haven't a clue about how we will do better.
By the way, what is Lebanon's budget deficit and accumulated debt burden as a percent of GDP? ...
