Prime Minister Najib Miqati and National Struggle Front ministers are eager on maintaining Internal Security Forces chief Ashraf Rifi and General Prosecutor Saeed Mirza in their positions, revealed ministerial sources to the daily Al-Liwaa in remarks published on Sunday.

They explained that Mirza is expected to play a major role in Lebanon in the upcoming phase in the country because of his ties with Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel had meanwhile told al-Manar television on Saturday that changing officers at the ISF Intelligence Bureau is normal, adding that its chief, Wissam al-Hassan, had played a political role in the country.

The daily stated that only one appointment will be addressed during the August 2 cabinet session.

The meeting will instead focus on Lebanon’s maritime borders, electricity file, and other issues.

The revelations of their multiple scandals and abuse of power , will put them not only out of system , but will throw them in prison with the political cover they have used all these years , that doesn't exist anymore .
