A Thai woman identified Monday by police as a suspect in the Bangkok bombing denied any knowledge of the attack to AFP, adding she was "shocked" to be linked with the crime and has been in Turkey for the last three months.

Turkey to Offer Rewards for 'Denouncing Terrorists'

Boy among 7 Killed in Turkey Violence

Three policemen, a 12-year-old boy and three Kurdish rebels died Sunday in continuing violence in Turkey's restive Kurdish-dominated southeast, a local security source said.

Two policemen were shot dead by gunmen in the center of the provincial capital Diyarbakir while a third was killed in Silopi in the neighboring Sirnak province.

Turkish Planes Join Anti-IS Coalition in Syria Raid for First Time

Turkish warplanes have for the first time joined raids by the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State positions in Syria, the foreign ministry said Saturday, after Washington urged Ankara to play a full role in the battle against the jihadists.

"Our fighter planes ... along with planes from the coalition yesterday (Friday) evening began joint operations against (IS) targets which pose a threat to the security of our country," the Turkish foreign ministry said in a statement.
