Ribery Injured in Bayern Training

French international Franck Ribery had to be taken off the field in a golf cart after hurting himself during a Bayern Munich training session on Sunday, the German club said.

Ribery, who has been beset with injuries since joining the Bundesliga giants in 2007, fell to the ground in a challenge and was taken away with his left ankle heavily bandaged and still visibly in pain, Bayern Munich said.
