A husband and wife thought to be one of the oldest married couples in New York have celebrated their birthdays — and their combined ages will be 212.

The Journal News reports Duranord Veillard turned 108 on Saturday. His wife, Jeanne Veillard, won't turn 105 until May.

When Travis Kvapil got the call Friday, he figured someone on his race team was playing a joke.

"They said there was trouble with the car," Kvapil said. "I thought we could figure it out when we got in the garage area. They're like, 'No, the car is gone.'"
