Naples prosecutors say they have ordered the search of dozens of football club offices as part of a tax fraud investigation relating to player contracts.

Financial police were executing search warrants on Tuesday on the offices of about 20 Serie A clubs, including AC Milan, Juventus and Lazio, in addition to clubs in lower leagues.

The Chinese activist who fled to America after taking refuge in the U.S. Embassy in Beijing last year said Monday that China's relentless efforts to crush opposition forces or suppress human rights will backfire.

Blues Singer Bobby 'Blue' Bland Dies at 83

Bobby "Blue" Bland, a distinguished singer who blended Southern blues and soul in songs such as "Turn on your Love Light" and "Further on up the Road," died Sunday. He was 83.

Rodd Bland said his father died about 5:30 p.m. Sunday due to complications from an ongoing illness at his Memphis, Tenn., home surrounded by relatives.
