Aoun condemns Houthi attacks on KSA in call with Saudi crown prince

President Joseph Aoun on Tuesday called Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to inquire about the situations in the Kingdom following “the attacks that targeted the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and other civilian installations and facilities, the Presidency said.

Aoun renewed his condemnation of these attacks and reaffirmed “the solidarity of Lebanon -- both leadership and people -- with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people,” stating that "these attacks pose a threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom as well as the security and stability of the region."

He also emphasized to Prince Mohammed "the necessity of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and refraining from targeting its vital and civilian facilities," expressing his condolences over the victims who lost their lives and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
