Aoun to meet Macron, Abdullah II prior to Paris conference
President Joseph Aoun will hold a summit with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and King Abdullah II of Jordan ahead of a Paris meeting that will prepare for the Lebanese Army support conference, media reports said.
The summit will tackle the situations in Lebanon and the region and the ongoing conflicts, after which the preparatory conference will take place, the Nidaa al-Watan newspaper said.
It added that the conference is supposed to pave the way for rallying the broadest assistance for the Lebanese Army and security forces according to specific conditions and mechanisms.
