Issa meets Netanyahu in Israel
U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa met Tuesday evening in Israel with its prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The meeting was held in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
Issa and Huckabee are playing a leading role in the negotiations between Lebanon and Israel.
The meeting comes amid reports suggesting that the United States intends to present a new proposal that might lead to Israel’s full withdrawal from Lebanon.
