Israel says Hezbollah drones cross border for second straight day

Hezbollah launched drones at Israel on Wednesday and Thursday, Israel's Foreign Ministry said, as it accused the group of serving Iran's interests.

"Yesterday evening and again this morning, the Iranian terror regime's proxy, Hezbollah, launched drones at Israel from Lebanon, in (a) blatant violation of the ceasefire," the Foreign Ministry posted on the X platform.

"Hezbollah does not serve Lebanon. It serves the interests of the Iranian terror regime, while the Lebanese people pay the price," the post said.

Israel early Thursday warned residents in the north to seek shelter after the detection of suspected incoming fire from Lebanon, as the army struck several towns and villages in south Lebanon.

The post included an image showing a map of the border regions in northern Israel targeted by Hezbollah's drones.
