Ryan Eid's ENTRY WOUND exhibition opens November 27 at the LT Gallery, Mar Mikhael

ENTRY WOUND unfolds as Ryan Eid’s exploration of a fragile space where presence and erasure coexist, and where identity forms as a means of survival rather than an expression of freedom.

Emerging from rural, marginalized and militarized contexts, his subjects stand before the viewer with hardened gestures and quiet defiance, their bodies shaped by accumulated pressures and inherited histories.

The figures echo a constructed identity forged through fear, adaptation and endurance, shielding itself within an outer shell of dignity, discernment and clarity.

The material language of the work reinforces this tension through abstraction, jagged contours and dense layering to create unsettled atmospheres. Corrosive environments textured with hints of decay and slow mutation embody the unseen spread of trauma, corruption and repression that quietly reshapes the body and psyche over time.

Within this charged terrain, a void recurs as rupture. Its silent presence becomes the anchor of the narrative: an interplay of what has been stripped away versus what continues to influence the self from beneath the surface.

Through the amalgam of material, gesture and absence, ENTRY WOUND unfolds as an unstable act of concealment and persistence between the need to protect and the need to be seen.

The opening will be held on Thursday, November 27 from 6 PM till 9 PM at the LT Gallery space in Mar Mikhael.

This exhibition subsequently runs till December 11.
