Israel strike on Iran state TV kills three
TIsrael's strikes on the headquarters of Iran's state television in Tehran killed three people, the broadcaster said on Tuesday, a day after the attack.
"Three of the TV station's employees were killed and others were wounded in the Israeli attack" on Monday, the channel announced, without specifying the number of people hospitalized.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building was struck in an Israeli attack on Monday, cutting live coverage immediately.
The blast occurred as the presenter was live on TV lambasting Israel before she was seen leaving the live broadcast, Iranian media reported, sharing a video of the incident.
Suddenly, an explosion occurred, cutting the screen behind her as she hurried off camera. The broadcast quickly switched to prerecorded programs.
An hour earlier, Israel had issued a warning the evacuate the area of Iran’s capital where the TV studios are located.
